Emily Murphy, FNP-C, is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2008. She received her Master of Science in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019.
Emily has 16 years’ experience in nursing. She spent 10 years as a registered nurse at the University of Kentucky Surgical and Trauma Intensive Care Unit, preparing her for complex surgical and wound care needs. She also has several years of experience as a nurse practitioner in primary and urgent care allowing her to fulfill the clinical role she currently provides for her patients.
Emily began her work with Surgical Alliance in the fall of 2023 and has established a great rapport with a large patient base including Hendersonville and Springfield Advanced Wound Care Centers.
Emily is a wife and mother of two children. Her family moved to Tennessee from Lexington, Kentucky in 2020. She provides the same love and care for her patients as she does for her family. When she is not in the office, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
