Catherine Bixby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, grew up in Robertson County, Tennessee. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University.
Catherine has more than 20 years of nursing experience, including 10 years as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she cared for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. She also has more than nine years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a clinical background in wound care, general surgery, pain management, men’s health, and vascular access.
Catherine joined Surgical Alliance of Middle Tennessee in March 2025 and is honored to care for patients at the Advanced Wound Care Center in Springfield. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and enjoys partnering with her patients to help them heal and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Catherine is the proud mother of four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and making lasting memories with those she loves.
