Jonathan Kroser, MD, FACS is one of the founding partners of Surgical Alliance of Middle Tennessee. He has been serving the region for over 23 years. During this time, he has helped bring several advancements to TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center including stereotactic breast biopsy and minimally invasive vascular procedures for treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
As a general, endoscopic, laparoscopic, and now robotic surgeon he offers a wide variety of specializations covering the spectrum of general surgery. Dr. Kroser is board-certified by The American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served in multiple leadership roles at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center including Chief of the Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery. Additionally, he is a member of several regional and national medical societies including The Tennessee Medical Association, The American Medical Association, and SAGES (the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons).
Dr. Kroser is a native of Philadelphia but has called Middle Tennessee his home since 2001. He is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in Philadelphia. He completed his General Surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2001. He has been in the Nashville area since he completed his training and serves patients from Springfield, Clarksville, Hendersonville, and all over middle Tennessee.
He has a particular interest in breast cancer and melanoma treatments. He also serves as the medical director for the TriStar NorthCrest Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center and has done so for nearly 2 decades. He is passionate about wound care and with the help of his staff has excellent healing rates.
